October 23, 1911, revolutionary army captured the Manchu castle of Xi'an. The Manchurian victims' number was up to 2,000 (another source says 5,000). The racial conflicts between Manchurian and Han came to a peak in the Xinhai revolutions. Many Manchurians changed their names as a Han Chinese to protect themselves. About the assimilation of Manchurians, there are still many aspects worth researching.
