February 2, 1941, Chongqing's New China' News highly praised Hu Wenhu for his "donating ten-millions for the Nation". Hu was known as a patriotic overseas Chinese. His fortune came from selling "Tiger Balm" by well using advertisement skills. His satellite business Singapore Daily was originally establishing for convenience of posting advertisements. Advertisement is an important symbol of the modern society. Despite the contents are often fabricated, it contains many touching information for the contemporary society.
