October 19, 1925, Chiang Ching-kuo, Chiang Kai-shek's eldest son, went to Moscow Sun Yat-sen University. The purpose of this university was to train future leaders for communist revolutions in China. At that time KMT and Communist party was in cooperation, thus quite a few KMT important figures' sons were selected to be its students, such as Chiang Ching-kuo. Besides, some communist leaders, such as Deng Xiaoping, also received education at this university.
