Abstract:
Lei Ying held posts as the director of the Ordnance Production Administration, the chief of staff of the Combined Logistics Command and deputy commander. In 1971, he was elected to the post of chairman of the China Mechanical Engineering Association, and in 1972, he received the ‘Mechanical Engineering Award’ from the Chinese Institute of Engineers. In 1977, he received orders to leave his post and serve as managing director and chairman of the Taiwan Machinery Company. This book recounts his experiences in various posts involving national defense technology over 40 years, depicting the development of the ROC country’s ordnance industry over this period of time.
