Abstract:
Ji was once Zhang Xueliang’s aide but resigned because of the policy of non resistance against Japan after the Shenyang Incident of 1931. Before and after the Xian Incident he had contact with Zhang Xueliang and Yan Xishan, and other important figures. After the War of Resistance ended, he was elected to the National Assembly. In 1960, he was appointed a Presidential Adviser.
