Abstract:
This book covers the period from 1921 to 1948, and is about the Beijing University academic atmosphere, campus dynamics and cases of political interference in the university. Prior to the War of Resistance Against Japan, there is material related to problems of party administration, including the unusual changes in local army personnel, the Jiang and Hu factions, affairs of the Shandong branch of the KMT, etc, information that was previously difficult to obtain. In the complete diary of the eight years of the War of Resistance, he writes extensively about regional and central relations, social change, price instability, the relationship between Jiang and Song, the post WW2 takeover and current affairs.
