Applications for the 2023 Academia Sinica Fellowships for Doctoral Candidates in the Humanities and Social Sciences begin.

Each applicant should submit to Ms. Huang Wen Yeh (Tel: 886-2-27898201) 3 copies of application materials, including a curriculum vitae, official copies of  Ph.D. academic records, a research plan, reprints of publications, and two letters of recommendation from the associated academic institution, together with a completed application form(word). The Fellowship appointment is awarded for a one-year period, of which at least two or three days a week must be spent at IMH. Note:

1. The doctoral candidate is not eligible to receive any further subsidy during their candidacy.
2. Due to the regulations, PRC citizens are not eligible for this program.
3. As the pandemic COVID-19 remains severe and the traveling restriction is still enforced, the program recipients may not be able to visit the Institute of Modern History as scheduled. It depends on the latest regulations of entrance to Taiwan.
