Abstract:
In his early years, Liu studied transportation at Pennsylvania State University, afterwards serving as ROC Highways Secretary for 17 years, develop and operating the transportation system of the entire country. In 1930, he was appointed as a railway ministry adviser. In the early period of the War of Resistance, he played an instrumental role in the signing of railway construction contracts, for example, the Yunnan-Burma Railway. After coming to Taiwan, he headed the Chinese Handicraft Center, laying a solid base on which the province's handicraft industry prospered. This book gives an account of his contribution to the construction of the Chinese railways.
