    Abstract:
    The theme of this issue is "Crossing the border". The movement of the Empires’ borders and the migration is one of the most important events on the history of the 20th century. Thus, many people have lived their lives under this situation. There are seven interview records, which including three topics as following: The life experiences of a Japanese woman and a Taiwanese man in Manchuria; a female traditional Chinese physician in Taiwan and a Taiwanese coach who taught Japanese Kendo, serving as two examples of the professionals; and three cases concerning Taiwan's independence movement.
