Abstract
In the manuscript of Ge ti ciowan lu bithe (Manchu anatomy) which Dominique Parrenin sent back to France, there are three chapters of the Kangxi Emperor’s linguistic corrections of the original text. In the past, scholars only considered it as a valuable linguistic material. In this essay, I try to explain why this appendix is important to Parrening, and argue how the clues within the lines explain the essential distinctions between the structure of the MHN and BnF manuscripts.
