December 12, 1936, Xi'an Incident broke up. Zhang Xueliang kidnapped Chiang Kai-shek, requesting for stopping the wars against Communists and focusing on fighting against Japanese. The result of this incident gave Communist Party the room of survival, and completely changed the development of modern Chinese history.
