April 28, 1952, Treaty of Taipei was signed in Taipei. This is a milestone in the post-war Sino-Japanese relations. There are several reasons for this treaty to be eventually signed up 7 years after the cease of WWII. Other than as a result of the international negotiations, it was deeply relevant to Chiang Kai-shek's personal prolonged connections to Japan.
