    Abstract:
This book is based on the interviewing plan commissioned by the Kaohsiung City Government and undertaken by the Institute of Modern History with the aim of unearthing and preserving historical materials related to the February 28 Incident. The entire book totals 193 articles. Aside from interviews, the book also contains relevant information from newspapers of the time, the Garrison Command, the Daxi Archives, and the High Court, hoping to make a comparison between the official data and the interviewees’ accounts. Of all the discussion of the February 28 Incident at a local level, this books has collected the most complete and richest information yet.
