Abstract:
General Ding joined the Kuomintang Revolutionary Army after the success of the Northern Expedition, taking part in the Central Plains Battle and the Communist Suppression Campaign. At the time of the War of Resistance, he took part in the first Battle of Changsha, among others. In 1948, he was reassigned to the post of chairman of Jiangsu Province. He worked as a national political adviser after coming to Taiwan. A cultured man as well as a professional soldier, the General taught the people skillfully and was a talented leader of soldiers.
