Abstract:
Wan Yaohuang received an entirely modern military education. During the period of his studies, he was a member of the Tongmenghui and the KMT, and took part in the 1911 Revolution(The Xinhai Revolution) and the anti-Yuan Shikai movement. After 1926, he was in the Northern Expedition, the blockading the Communists, and the War of Resistance against Japan, after which he attained the rank of General. After coming to Taiwan, he chaired the Institute of Revolutionary Practice. His entire life was connected to the turbulence of the times in which he lived.
