The Kaohsiung Incident took place on the 10th of December 1979; a meeting and March to commemorate human rights day organized by the Meili Island Magazine in Kaohsiung came into conflict with the police and the army. This incident has had a great influence on political democratization in post- War Taiwan. This issue interviewed 14 figures connected to the Kaohsiung (Meilidao) Incident and it is valuable historical material relating to the history of the Taiwanese Democracy Movement.
