Abstract:
Shi Jingting, a native of Shangdong Province, held positions including: chief of staff of the Northwest Army, commander-in-chief of a route army, chairman of the provincial government, director of military training, chairman of the military inspection committee, and he was a member of the military committee of the national government. He was not only respected by Feng Yuxiang and saw a lot of action, he also brushed shoulders with many distinguished characters of the time. This book transcribes interviews with the general in 1960, in which he tells of his background and personal experiences before 1931 and his activities with the Northwest Army and their background and provides anecdotes about well-known figures.
