    Abstract:
    Ju Zheng, known as the Hermit of Meichuan, was born in Guangji County, Hubei Province. In his youth, he participated in the revolution that overthrew the Qing Dynasty, and after the republic was formed, held important positions in the party and government. The editor collected material from Nanjing Second Historical Archives of China, current newspapers and magazines in Mainland China, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan and the private collection of Kayano Nagatomo,the Taipei KMT Historical Association and Tamkang University collections.
