Abstract:
Tang Rong Co. was once a force to be reckoned with. However, due to excessively rapid expansion, which gradually bled away the firm's capital, it was finally taken over by the provincial government in 1962. This book has recorded the memories of the founder of the Tang Rong Company, Tang Chuanzong (Tang Chuan-zong) and other related figures, not only allowing us to understand the whole story of the company, but also giving a clear insight into the policies directed at privately- run companies by the government of the time.
