    Abstract:
The book is a sequel to An Oral History of People Related to Overseas Taiwan Independent Movement (2009), including one volume of the Japanese side, twelve volumes of the USA’s side, and one volume of the European side. The Overseas Taiwan Independent Movement consists of three aspects: theory, action, and organization. Shih Ming and Huang Chaotang are in all its aspects, Tai Tienchao, Chen Lungchih, Chang Hsucheng, and Fan Lianghsin are under the first aspect, Chen Jungcheng, Wang Hsingnan, Kuo Chingchiang, Lai Wenhsiung, and Cheng hsin are under the second aspect, while Tsai Tungjung, Lo Fuchuan, Chen Hsikuan, and Chang Hsintang are under the third aspect. The interviewees in the book were mostly born in the 1930s and 1940s, went abroad in the 1950s and 1960s, and are now in their seventies and eighties. Although they witnessed the DDP ruling Taiwan in their old age, they surely will not be satisfied due to their perspective of nationalism. Their contributions have let them become a special “group”, embarrassing others who lived a muddleheaded life.
