《一九三〇年代的華北特殊化》分三冊，由黃自進、陳佑慎、蘇聖雄主編，除利用外交部檔案外，並加入國史館庋藏之蔣中正總統文物相關史料，以豐富史料，重新探索1930年代中日、內外各方勢力競逐下的華北問題。 本資料集在結構上分為以下幾個主題：「長城戰役與塘沽協定」、「通航、通車、通郵交涉」、「華北特殊化與華北自治運動」、「河北事件與南京政府退出華北」、「宋哲元與冀察政權」、「中日國交調整」、「全面戰爭的前奏」等主題。不論是謀國者的苦心，抑或在地勢力的觀點，俱能稍見其一二。
