Abstract：
This issue is mainly a collection of interviews with a number of former convicts of the Ministry of Defense Educational Prison in Taiyuan, Taitung, in 1970; these convicts plotted an uprising in the name of Taiwanese Independence. The uprising failed on February 8, 1970. This is the only genuine case of an armed uprising in Taiwan after the February 28 Incident.
