    Abstract:
    This book series is based on recordings of his life story told to various subordinates by General Xue Yue in spring, 1981. It has six main parts (1)family history and early revolution (2) Record of the Northern Expedition (3) Record of blockading the Communists (4) Record of the Anti-Japanese War (5) Record of the suppression of the Communist Rebellion (6) Conclusion and discussion. In particular, the key points in the process of revolution have been verified conscientiously in accordance with historical facts so will differ to unofficial history. Although this is a historical material book series written by many people it actually is a series that has the historical value and significance of an oral history.
