    Abstract:
Based on a collection of valuable historical materials from China, Russia and the Netherlands, the author has dissected the relationship between Sun Yatsen and all levels of the Communist International. The book describes the evolution of Sun’s relations with the Comintern in chronological order. Given that Sun was a figure of international importance, in his activities he was involved with many countries. The author tries to show how Sun, in an ever-changing international situation, insisted on managing his interaction with the Comintern according to “The Three Principles of the People” to achieve the objectives of national liberation and unification. With its new perspective on Sun’s diplomatic successes, this book will be refreshing to readers.
