Abstract:
At the time of the 1931 Shenyang Incident, Wang was a regimental commander based at Beidaying, Shenyang, and resisted fiercely against the Japanese. After the war against the Japanese was won in 1945, he once headed the government of Liaoning Province. His experiences in the northeast are at the center of the book, which contains historical material that is important for understanding the modern history of China’s northeast.
