Abstract:
Hang’s served as the director of the Boxer Indemnity Board for over a decade. He created and founded the Chinese Political Society. During the War of Resistance, he served as the head of the US’s United China Relief. In 1949, he became Minister of Education, in which role he transported relics from the Forbidden City to Taiwan. He served as ambassador to many countries and was Chief Secretary to the Asian Anti-Communist Alliance. Over the course of his life, he made outstanding contributions in the areas of education, culture, and diplomacy.
