    Abstract:
    In 1912 Zhong was elected to the National Assembly, and went to Beijing to take part in the first meeting. In 1921, he left the Assembly to serve as the head of the Department of Finance of Hunan Province, aiding the province in becoming autonomous, and drawing up a provincial constitution. In 1946, he attended the first National Assembly after the ROC Constitution was enacted. In 1949, he came to Taiwan, where he became a devout Buddhist.
