    Abstract:
    Liu Zhen (Liu Chen) originally went to Japan to study, but returned to China to join the War of Resistance after the July 7 Incident (Lugou Bridge Incident) of 1937 erupted, working as secretary to Chen Cheng. Later, he served as a legislator, principal of National Normal University, director of Taiwan Provincial Department of Education, Head of the Educational Research Institute of the National Cheng-chi University, served as the Head of the National Security Council for 24 years: his entire life was closely intertwined with the Kuomintang, government, the military, culture and education.
