Abstract:
Chen Meiquan became deputy head and acting head of the Female Youth Military Training Group in 1945. In 1947, she was elected a member of the National Assembly. After coming to Taiwan, she dedicated herself to the creation of the Taiwanese female police force and carried out pioneering police public relations work. This book relates her experiences over more than 80 years, with the emphasis on female police officers, also including the contributions of her husband Zhao Binkun to national air defense and the restoration of the Yangtse shipping lanes during the war against Japan.
