Abstract:
From 1928 Wang worked closely with Hu Zongnan (Hu Tsung-nan), serving as director of his Confidential Office among other positions. This book discusses the period when Hu was stationed in the Northwest, blockading Yenan and fighting with the Chinese Communist Party, subsequently withdrawing to Taiwan and defending Dachen, providing an in-depth narrative and analysis of each stage. There is also some criticism of Chiang Kai-shek, Chen Cheng, Yan Xishan, Dai Li and others.
