    Abstract:
Two books contain interviews with 12 naval figures. Their experience covers the period from the first year of the Republic of China to the 70th. The book's background includes the different education and training methods used by different schools, fighting against different enemies in different regions, and experience of going to different countries to study, in addition to the unstinting effort which was put into building the ROC Navy at different times. It is helpful in allowing us to become fully acquainted with the navy of the Republic of China.
