Abstract:
Gu Yingchang once served as the Chinese representative to the United Nations Far Eastern Committee, worked as a professor at Michigan State University and Michigan University, as well as others. In 1968 he was made an Academia Sinica academician. He served as an economic advisor to Taiwan from the 1960s to 1970s. In the 1980s he took part in the economic reforms in Mainland China, making great contributions to the economic development of both sides of the Straits of Taiwan.
