Abstract：
振興醫院正式成立於1967年，初期專門收治小兒麻痺病童，70年代晚期該疾病傳染獲得 有效控制後，逐步轉型為綜合醫院。本書透過十位歷任或現任院長、副院長的口述回 憶，呈現醫院成長、轉型蓽路藍縷的過程，同時兼述各人求學及醫事生涯、專業領域的 發揮，不僅可以充實臺灣醫療史的史料，亦可一窺私人醫院經營的甘苦與面臨的挑戰。
