Abstract:
During the First World War, most of the young men on the Allied side on France, Britain, and Russia were sent to the front lines, so these countries went to China and recruited an enormous number of Chinese laborers to be sent to Europe to fill the labor shortage; they made a great contribution by means of supplementing the inadequate productive manpower behind the lines. This book both reconstructs this period of history and also contributes accurate comments.
