摘要：
2019年適逢史丹佛大學胡佛研究所創立一百週年，本報告將有系統介紹胡佛檔案館背景與豐富史料館藏。胡佛研究所創辦人、美國第31任總統胡佛先生與近代中國之間具有特殊緣份，透過對胡佛近代中國(包括1949年後台灣時期)的館藏介紹，吾人除能掌握其學術價值外，也將可理解西方學術界如何透過這些歷史檔案收藏，來認識中國近代史。
