摘要:
  當我們探討「中國哲學」相關問題時,在我們的腦海裡其實已經有對「中國哲學」的「哲學」形象。而若沒有其「哲學」形象的話,從戰國諸子、宋明道學家到滿清時期的經學家等的思想,通通無法稱上「〜的哲學」。在近現代的東亞世界裡,將其自己的傳統思想由「哲學(philosophy)」學術框架來思考其內容和意義的嘗試淵源於1880年代東京大學所開設的「東洋哲學」、「支那哲學」等的相關課程中。在此經由Ernest Fenollosa、井上哲次郎、井上圓了等當時青年知識分子的講學和撰寫過程,「中國哲學」這門學科逐步形成。
