摘要:
在國際賽事風潮的帶動下,圍繞運動競賽所產生的政治議題,成為臺灣社會的焦點之一,也興起了以其為核心的國民外交意識。但就國家或政府的層級而言,冷戰期間在臺主政的中華民國,在早已抱持避免將政治意圖帶入體育賽事的認識,且大致仍有合法國際地位的國家狀態下,是否當真曾將牽涉體育或運動性質的工作,置入其政策規劃及行動中,則尚非受到討論的主題。本講以外交史研究方法為主,就中華民國對體育的理解情形及其在涉外體育事務的行動內涵加以探討,以豐富戰後中華民國外交史的相關內容。
