曾幾何時,《厚黑學》是市面上的流行書籍,部分讀者甚至視之為待人處世的秘笈。少為人知的是,《厚黑學》的作者李宗吾,曾在1920年代擔任四川視學官員;書中各種光怪陸離的人與事,不少是來自他任內的經驗,包括附錄「吊打校長奇案」一節。對於當時教育界的亂象,李宗吾提出一種懲罰性的考試制度:各校畢業生必須通過校外的會考,畢業資格才得到承認,會考的結果,也將決定哪些是要被淘汰的差劣學校。這種懲罰性的思維,如何滲透在1930年代國民政府的會考制度之中,又在何時才開始改變?這段歷史對我們當下的評鑑制度又有何啟示?這些問題,都會在本講一一探討。
