Research Building Research Building’s central atrium
Completed in 1992, the Institute of Modern History Research Building mainly houses the offices of research associates and administrative staff. The Research Building’s central atrium is a good place to converse, have a meal, enjoy the outdoors, or just sit and think.
the computer lab Kuo Ting-Yi Library
The computer lab on the third floor is used for computerized education and provides equipment for the use of visiting scholars and research associates. The Kuo Ting-Yi Library has a wealth of materials related to modern history, and provides printed materials for the reference of research associates.
Archives Hall cnference room
The Archives Hall is focused on gathering primary historical materials and incorporating the archival materials into research, and also works to render archival materials in digital formats. The conference room on the first floor of the Archives Hall provides the Institute with a venue for major events.
Hu Shih Memorial Hall exhibition room of the Hu Shih Memorial Hall
The Hu Shih Memorial Hall is the former residence of the late President Hu, within which are displayed collections of Hu’s works, manuscripts, notes, and book collection, as well as photographs, utensils, audio-visual material, and more.
